Practices for how you move through life.

SADHANA LIFE PRACTICES

There are times when nothing is necessarily “wrong,” yet something no longer feels right.

You may be functioning, working, caring for others and managing your responsibilities, but feeling chronically stressed, depleted, disconnected, stuck in familiar patterns, or uncertain about what comes next.

Sadhana Life Practices is a personalized space to slow down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and develop practical ways of responding differently.

Drawing from Yoga Therapy, therapeutic movement, breathwork, mindfulness, self-inquiry and behavior change, sessions help you cultivate greater awareness of your body, your patterns and your choices and translate that awareness into the way you actually live.

Stress · Burnout · Life Transitions

The intention is not to give you another wellness routine to perform perfectly. It is to help you develop practices you can use, adapt and return to in real life.

THE WHAT

More than a practice you do, it is a practice for how you live.

Sadhana Life Practices is an individualized approach for people navigating chronic stress, burnout, demanding periods of life, emotional overwhelm, loss, change or major transitions.

Rather than following a predetermined program, we begin with what is happening in your life now.

We may explore how you breathe when you are under pressure. Where you habitually hold tension. What happens in your body when you feel overwhelmed. Which behaviors help you regulate and which keep you caught in familiar cycles. How you rest. How you respond to uncertainty. And whether the way you are currently living still reflects what matters to you.

THE WHY

Many of us already know what we “should” do. Sleep more.Stress less.Exercise.Breathe.Set boundaries.Slow down.

Yet knowledge alone does not necessarily change the way we respond when life becomes difficult.

Our responses are influenced by habits, beliefs, previous experiences, our environment and patterns held within the body. Under stress, we often return automatically to what is familiar even when it no longer serves us.

This is why Life Practices works with more than thoughts alone. By bringing attention to body, breath, behavior and awareness, we can begin to notice our patterns as they are happening, not simply understand them afterward.

And in that moment of awareness, something important becomes possible: choice.

The choice to pause instead of react. To regulate rather than push through. To move when the body needs movement and rest when it needs recovery. To recognize a familiar pattern before automatically following it. To respond to life with greater intention.

Because understanding a pattern and changing it are not the same thing.

The goal is not to eliminate stress or difficult emotions. It is to expand your capacity to meet them differently.

THE HOW

Your practice begins with you.

There is no standard Life Practices session because there is no standard person or standard life.

O2

Understand

Notice

We begin by looking at what is happening now: your stressors, physical sensations, energy, sleep, routines, emotional patterns, life circumstances and the areas where you feel stuck or disconnected.

We also clarify something often overlooked: What would you actually like to be different?

Before changing a pattern, we need to recognize it. Through conversation, movement, breath and somatic awareness, we explore how your patterns show up in real time.

You might begin noticing a breath that becomes shallow under pressure, a body that remains braced after the stressful moment has passed, difficulty resting without guilt, or automatic behaviors that appear when you are overwhelmed.

Awareness turns something automatic into something observable.

O3

Practice

We select practices according to what you need, not according to a fixed method.

Therapeutic & Functional Movement

To reduce accumulated tension, restore mobility and reconnect with physical sensation.

Breathwork

To explore breathing patterns and learn ways of using the breath for regulation, focus, recovery or energy.

Mindfulness & Meditation

To strengthen attention and observe thoughts, sensations, and emotions without immediately reacting to them.

Somatic Practices

To recognize how stress and experience are expressed through the body and develop greater capacity to remain present with sensation.

Self-inquiry & Yoga Philosophy

Behaviour & Habit Change

To explore beliefs, values, identity, relationships and recurring patterns through contemplative and practical frameworks.

To translate insight into realistic changes in routines, environment and everyday decisions.

O4

Integrate

The most important part happens outside the session.

Rather than giving you an extensive routine, we identify small, meaningful practices that fit your actual life. That might be a three-minute breathing practice before a difficult meeting, movement after long hours at a desk, a different evening ritual, a mindfulness practice for overwhelm, a boundary you are learning to recognize, or a question you return to when making an important decision.

Over time, we observe what works, what does not, and adapt your practice accordingly. Your Sadhana evolves as you do.

WHO IS THIS FOR ?

Support for the life you are actually living.

You do not need previous experience with Yoga, meditation or breathwork. We begin where you are.

  • Persistent stress, tension or overwhelm.

  • Burnout or difficulty recovering from prolonged demands.

  • Grief, caregiving, relationship changes or major life transitions.

  • Feeling disconnected from your body, needs or sense of direction.

  • Recurring patterns you want to understand and change.

  • A desire for a more embodied approach to mindfulness and personal development.

  • Demanding professional or personal environments.

  • A new chapter you want to approach more intentionally.

SADHANA LIFE PRACTICES IS NOT ABOUT BECOMING A DIFFERENT PERSON

Life Practices is not about optimizing every part of your life, maintaining permanent calm or adding another list of things you are supposed to do.

It is about developing a deeper relationship with yourself: learning to recognize what your body is communicating, understanding the patterns that shape your responses, and knowing which practices help when you need grounding, movement, rest, clarity or perspective.

Over time, the aim is to cultivate greater awareness, adaptability and choice.

Your practice does not have to happen away from your life.

Your life becomes the practice.

It is about becoming more able to meet your life as yourself.
